Chief Marketing Officer - Dallas, TX Legal Resource Group has been retained by a 150 lawyer Texas-based law firm to assist the firm in its search for a legal marketing professional to assume firm-wide marketing, communications and business development responsibilities. The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for directing all of the firm’s marketing, business development, client relations, and promotional activities. This is a newly created exempt management position, resident in the firm’s Dallas office that will report to the firm-wide Managing Partner.
The position is responsible for managing planning, research, promotion, image development & maintenance, policy, budgeting, business development, client relations and marketing training.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have significant experience in the management of a marketing and business development operation for a professional service firm.
It is anticipated that candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a similar area, past experience in marketing, public relations, advertising or communications. A J.D. or Masters degree would be preferred. It anticipated that candidates will have at least seven years of professional services, corporate marketing or corporate communications experience. Law firm experience will be considered a significant advantage.
