Office Administrator - NYC, NY Date Posted: June 10, 2008 A well respected, multi-office, Northeastern law firm has retained Legal Resource Group, LLC to assist them in seeking a legal professional for a unique opportunity. The position is responsible for the administrative operations of the New York office. The position reports directly to the Executive Director.
This is a highly responsible, professional management position reports to the Executive Director. The Office Administrator (OA) has overall responsibility for the administrative operations of the office, the provision of adequate and appropriate support services for the office’s legal practice, maintaining appropriate facilities, the supervision and motivation of all non-attorney staff and assisting with the coordination of attorney recruitment activities. The Ideal Candidate should have New York City legal administrative experience and strong familiarity with the City environment.
The Office Administrator is accountable to the Executive Director for the management, leadership and supervision of all support services operations at the office level. In addition, this position is an auxiliary resource with services including accounting and billing, information services and marketing.
The successful candidate will possess the experience and education appropriate to the position. Preferably, the candidate would have a degree in management, administration or equivalent experience with five to seven years of directly related experience with administrative supervision and management in a professional service industry. Experience with multi-office settings desirable.
