Legal Recruiting Manager (Dallas, TX)
Legal Resource Group has been retained to seek an experienced Legal Recruiting Manager for a mid-sized law firm located in Dallas, Texas. This position will be responsible for recruiting attorneys at the Partner and Associate level and for the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate integration, mentoring and retention. The Manager will work closely with the Managing Partner, Chief of Operations, Section Heads and Chairs of both Partner and Associate recruiting committees. The successful candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must have a high level of trustworthiness and discretion given the confidential nature of the recruiting process.

About the Position
The Legal Recruiting Manager’s primary responsibilities and objectives include:
- Direct the recruiting process for Partner and Associate hires.
- Work closely with Section Heads and Recruiting Chairs and manage all aspects of the interview process including scheduling, feedback collection, background and conflict checks and the offer process.
- Build strong relationships with Partners across the Firm.
- Design, implement and maintain programs that would enhance integration, mentorship and retention.
- Maintain strong relationships with external recruiting firms.
- Advise management on compensation and benefit trends in attorney hiring.
- Supervise the Recruiting Coordinator.
- Attend recruiting events and assist with Firm wide recruiting initiatives.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the legal recruiting market and trends.
About the Person
The successful candidate will likely possess these qualifications and characteristics:
- Five or more years of recruiting experience at a law firm or other professional services firm including direct experience with lateral partner hiring and law school recruiting.
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
- Excellent communication and personal skills with a strong commitment to client service.
- Possess the confidence and ability to interact with Firm leadership on a regular basis.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- This is an exempt position.
